Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM-11:30 PM.

Active RN license with at least two years in acute-care ER, plus current BLS and ACLS credentials, are required. Per diem roles offer daily or weekly pay options and convenient credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
