Job summary

KRUSH TECH AS is seeking an Embedded Firmware Control Engineer to design and implement embedded software and real-time control algorithms for electric motor-driven systems. You will work hands-on with software and hardware, developing control algorithms in simulation and validating them on real systems.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in R&D or advanced engineering, strong C skills, and experience with FOC and motor control, MATLAB/Simulink, and ARM/ST/NXP platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded programming and control engineering in R&D/advanced environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong C programming skills and real-time embedded development experience.
• Hands-on experience with FOC and electric motor control.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, ARM/ST/NXP platforms, JTAG and CANanalyzer.
• From MATLAB/Simulink concept to real-time testing and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software and firmware for electric motor control.
• Model, simulate and analyse control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Implement real-time control algorithms on microcontrollers and DSPs.
• Develop and tune control loops for real-world system performance.
• Work closely with hardware, mechanical and software engineers.
• Perform unit testing, debugging and real-time validation of control algorithms.
• Support prototype bring-up, hardware testing and troubleshooting.
• Investigate performance issues and identify improvements at software and system level.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions.
• Create and maintain system-level technical documentation.
