Job summary

AquaNav in Svalbard, Norway is hiring an experienced Elevator Installer to join our team in Svalbard. You will install and maintain elevators in various buildings, ensuring safety and reliability.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, knowledge of elevator systems, reading blueprints, and strong English skills; Norwegian language preferred. Visa sponsorship available; immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Elevator Installer or related field.
• Strong knowledge of elevator mechanics electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English Norwegian language skills preferred.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install new elevator systems according to building codes and safety standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on existing elevators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with elevators.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep up to date with industry advancements and attend training as necessary.
