Job summary

ABB in Norway is seeking a Sales Support Specialist - Electrical Systems to join our Technical Advisory team. You will blend technical expertise with customer dialogue to identify optimal electrical solutions.

You will design proposals, prepare cost estimates, support sales with technical input, and collaborate with engineering and project teams across offshore wind, hydrogen, and renewables. A degree in Electrical Power or related field and strong Norwegian and English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/Technical College degree in Electrical Power, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Experience with electrical systems and ability to provide technical advice.
• Strong Norwegian and English communication; collaborate with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions and proposals for complex electrical system projects.
• Support the sales organization with technical expertise and customer-facing activities.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing calculations and bid documentation.
• Work with engineering and execution teams to meet customer requirements and ABB standards.
• Engage with customers and partners to understand project needs and recommend technical approaches.
• Lead supplier relations through factory/site visits, design meetings and input to R&D.
