Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS in Bergen is seeking an experienced engineer to lead maintenance and modification projects for the oil and gas sector. You will design solutions to meet customer requirements, manage equipment packages, and coordinate with suppliers and clients while contributing to FAT testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, holds a technical degree, English fluency, and holds safety and high/low voltage certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in maintenance and modification projects.
• Experience from Oil & Gas; preferably with Equinor.
• Excellent collaboration and communication.
• Basic safety training and health certificate up to date.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Follow up on equipment packages
• Design solutions according to customer requirements
• Follow up on suppliers and technical documentation, and participate in testing activities/FAT
• Collaborate with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients
• Participate in studies and execution projects

Required expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (technical college combined with extensive relevant experience may be considered)
• 5+ years of relevant experience within maintenance and modification projects
• Experience from the Oil and Gas industry, with preferred experience working with Equinor as a client
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Basic EX course (22.5 hours classroom or 6-8 hours online)
• FSE high and low voltage certification, including first aid
• Basic safety training (GSK) with helicopter escape and a valid health certificate (can be completed upon need)
• Language: English (Norwegian is an advantage)
• Location: Bergen
• Work schedule: Full-time (5-day work week)
