Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Site Manager Electrical for a major data centre project in Fyresdal, Norway. The role involves leading electrical construction on site, coordinating with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The successful candidate will oversee testing, energisation, commissioning, and handover activities, while maintaining robust site progression reporting and coordination with QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree, diploma, or technical education in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Relevant electrical certifications or industry qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily electrical construction activities on site as part of the delivery team.
• Manage and follow up electrical subcontractors, supervisors, and specialist vendors.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Support planning and sequencing of electrical works and ensure work fronts are ready for execution.
• Monitor progress and identify constraints or delays affecting delivery.
• Ensure labour, materials, plant, and equipment are available to support planned activities.
• Coordinate electrical activities with mechanical, CSA, BMS, and commissioning teams.
• Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings; elevate risks when needed.
• Monitor quality of electrical installations and support inspections, ITPs, snagging, and handover.
• Maintain strong focus on health, safety, and electrical safety; ensure compliance with HSE procedures.
