Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of automation/instrument projects in Norway. You will oversee MC verification, oversee handovers to operations, and guide peers and management on commissioning activities.

You will collaborate with project and client teams, model a strong HSE culture, and engage in internal visa support for EEA/expat consultants. Attractive benefits include access to holiday houses and exclusive trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Master’s degree or Technical College qualification preferred.
• 5–10 years of commissioning experience.
• Experience in similar roles.
• Proficient with electronic tools for project follow-up and delivery.
• Demonstrated HSE commitment and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and execution of commissioning within automation/instrument.
• Follow up MC verification and hand-over scope to Commissioning.
• Perform handover from Commissioning to Operation.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues and management on Commissioning.
• Collaborate with project and client teams to align objectives.
• Mentor junior staff and promote safe working practices.
