The Centre for Planetary Habitability (PHAB) at UiO invites applications for a Researcher position in Early Earth Processes. The successful candidate will join a project group exploring planet formation, evolution and habitability, with field and laboratory-based investigations of Archean-Paleoproterozoic environments.

Ideal applicants have a strong Archean-Paleoproterozoic geological background and proven expertise in geochemistry, sedimentology, geobiology and geochronology, and will

Qualifications

• Requires significant field and laboratory experience in geosciences.
• Strong background in Archean-Paleoproterozoic geology and surface processes.
• Proven record in geochemistry, geochronology, sedimentology and geobiology.

Responsabilités

• Conduct field-based and laboratory investigations related to Early Earth Processes.
• Collaborate within PHAB to advance understanding of crustal and atmospheric evolution.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
