Qualifications

• Must have or be working toward a CDA, a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, OR three years of experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Treat all children with dignity and respect
• Develop and implement individually designed programs
• Plan and coordinate transitioning to the next classroom
• Supervise teacher and classroom assistants
• Supervise the classroom and ensure the health and safety of each child
• Plan and follow a daily schedule and daily activities
• Maintain an organized, attractive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
• Maintain appropriate interactions with families
• Attend conferences and in-service training
• Maintain knowledge of, and compliance with, all school policies

Education
