Richmond American University London is now seeking to appoint an Academic Registrar to oversee the leadership and management of the Registry Services, Admissions, and Quality Assurance (including collaborative provision).

The role holder must provide strong leadership, consistent with the Strategy of the University and work closely with the Provost to advance the academic, operational, and budgetary goals of the University. As a small university, all senior leaders are expected to play a significant role in the whole of University leadership and be supportive of each other; and be exemplars of our values. The Academic Registrar has four direct reports: Head of Admissions; Deputy Registrar Student Support; Deputy Registrar Systems and Compliance; and Deputy Registrar Quality Assurance.

The successful candidate will have experience of leading a similar department in UK higher education and managing change, knowledge or experience of both the US and UK Academic quality standards and regulations, and experience of overseeing franchise and validation partnerships with expertise on the regulatory landscape concerning partnerships. The successful candidate will exhibit a leadership style that demonstrates integrity, transparency, collegiality, and confidence. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate empathy with the mission, vision, and values and the charitable purpose of the University, whilst recognising the range of stakeholders to whom the University is accountable.
