Job summary

IO Associates is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with active DV Clearance to join a large Defence programme in London. The role offers an on-site arrangement in London with a hands-on leadership component, guiding teams while contributing technically.

The successful candidate will work with Python, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies to shape the platform. Start ASAP on a 3‑month initial contract with a day rate of £675–£725.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence or National Security programmes.
• Previous experience leading software development teams.
• Strong development expertise in Python, React, TypeScript, FastAPI, REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience working in MOD deployment environments.
• Active DV Security Clearance.

Rate: £675 – £725 per day
