NOV Aftermarket Repair is seeking a Repair Technician for the workshop in Søgne. You will join a team of technicians and service engineers to overhaul, service, and maintain drilling equipment, taking ownership of multiple projects from inspection to documentation.

You will work on varied, hands-on assignments, with emphasis on technical understanding and strong teamwork. The role offers opportunities to develop expertise in NOV drilling equipment in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in mechanical or hydraulic disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with drilling equipment preferred; automotive/heavy equipment experience may be considered.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification preferred; IT skills with Excel are an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication in Norwegian and English.

Responsabilités

• Perform overhaul and repair of drilling equipment.
• Carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues.
• Perform testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare and complete inspection reports.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
