Job description

Are you a detail-driven, tech-savvy leader who thrives on structure, precision, and collaboration?
We’re looking for an experienced Document Control Manager to take charge of our technical documentation landscape and help us build a smarter, more connected data center operation.

As a Document Control Manager, you will lead the development, organization, and maintenance of all engineering and compliance documentation across our data center portfolio. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring documentation is accurate, secure, and accessible—supporting everything from construction handover to ongoing operations. Managing a team of document controllers, BIM specialists, and technical librarians, you’ll be at the heart of cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, compliance, and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and enforce document control standards, procedures, and governance across engineering and operations
  • Oversee the full document lifecycle, including engineering drawings, specifications, Operations & Maintenance manuals, certifications, commissioning reports, and more
  • Keep the BIM model and technical drawings organized and updated, so both digital and paper documents are easy to find and use.
  • Coordinate updates to as-built drawings and infrastructure schematics with internal teams and external consultants
  • Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team including document controllers, BIM coordinators, and archive staff
  • Administer and enhance the document control system (ProArc), ensuring robust integration with asset management platforms (e.g., CMMS, digital twins)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including document digitization and system automation
  • Be the main contact for anything related to documents between engineering, operations, compliance, and people outside the company
  • Provide training and support to ensure best practices in document handling, system usage, and compliance readiness

What You Bring

  • 7–10 years’ experience in document control, BIM coordination, or technical library management in construction or critical infrastructure
  • Proven leadership in managing document transitions from construction to operations
  • Deep understanding of BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks), CDEs, and document management systems
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational, quality control, and version management skills
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to improving access, accuracy, and efficiency in documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Management, or a related field.

If you don’t meet every requirement listed, that’s okay—your unique experience and perspective might be just what we need. If you believe you can add value to our team, we encourage you to apply.
