A leading tech giant based in Trondheim are seeking to bolster their team with an experienced, team focused Director of GPU Hardware Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Propel engineering excellence by moving beyond incremental gains to consistently deliver industry-leading GPU innovations.
- Drive fast, coordinated execution across global teams, hitting key milestones while actively managing risks and interdependencies.
- Convert organizational objectives into actionable team strategies and roadmaps, testing assumptions and exploring disruptive market opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement by evolving engineering practices to boost efficiency, scalability, and product quality.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent through strong leadership, mentoring, and succession planning, while fostering cross-team collaboration and trusted partner relationships.
Requirements
- Proven success in leading complex, multi-team engineering projects or portfolios, delivering high-quality results under demanding conditions.
- Deep knowledge of cutting-edge design and verification practices, with a track record of driving impact from incremental improvements to transformational outcomes.
- Skilled in shaping roadmaps, setting technical direction, and influencing strategy beyond core areas of responsibility.
- Experienced in building, scaling, and developing engineering teams, inspiring talent, fostering inclusion, and encouraging bold, innovative thinking.
- Exceptional communicator with strong problem-solving and risk-management abilities, confident presenting to senior stakeholders, customers, and large audiences.
