Job summary

Silicon Labs in Oslo is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our Oslo Digital Design team. You will work on RTL design, verification, and integration for next‑gen IoT MCU/wireless products, collaborating with analog, software, and product groups to deliver robust digital features.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a foundation in digital design and VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog, capable of learning quickly and communicating clearly in English.

Qualifications

  • Foundation in digital logic, computer architecture, or embedded systems.
  • Experience with HDL (Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL).
  • Exposure to digital verification via simulations, testbenches, or formal methods an advantage.
  • Familiarity with synthesis, timing, and power/area tradeoffs an advantage.

We have a passion for what we do and always seek out better ways to serve our customers.**How the Oslo Digital Design Team Works**The Digital Design team in Oslo is part of the Digital Subsystems (DSS) group at Silicon Labs. The DSS group is responsible for the research and development of digital architectures and IP from concept through production. We develop processors (including RISC-V), compute engines for AI/ML, accelerators, peripherals, and system IP. The Oslo team also develops digital designs that interface with analog and mixed-signal modules. This work requires close collaboration with analog design, verification, and software teams.Our activities include advanced research and development, architecture, RTL design, timing, power, and area optimization, and formal verification within an automated framework.
