We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer - Simulation, to Stavanger.

Focus is on building and maintaining internal CI/CD systems and simulation infrastructure. This role will also support internal hardware in simulator facility, for example VR, Mixed Reality, and other simulator I/O and display environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop internal CI/CD systems.
  • Oversee iPort deployment and simulator operations.
  • Work with the core developer team to develop new internal features for simulator center.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain physical I/O and display hardware (VR, Mixed Reality, Simulation Devices).

Tasks:

  • Maintain the CI/CD efficiency of simulation development.
  • Ensure stability of daily operation for the on-site simulation center.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor and optimize system and hardware performance.
  • Collaborate closely with both development, operations teams, and broader digital community.
  • Align deliverables with relevant compliance policies.
  • Manage source control (Perforce preferred, Git also relevant).
  • Support and manage web servers and networked environments.
  • Configure and maintain physical servers, workstations, and custom hardware.

Skills:

  • Solid hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical, solution oriented mindset.
  • Works well in an international software development environment with diverse competencies.
  • High ethical standards and willingness to adhere to company values.
