Job summary

Easee is building a security platform to make secure software the default. The Security Platform Engineer will own integrating security into the internal developer platform and CI/CD, automating controls, and scaling security across a large fleet of cloud services.

You will work with Platform Infrastructure, Software Development, Compliance, and external security specialists to design practical security solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and operationalising security standards in an internal developer platform or cloud environment.
• Experience implementing real-time security analytics and monitoring for threat detection.
• Familiarity with AWS security tooling - Security Hub, Config, Secrets Manager - and policy-as-code tools like Open Policy Agent.
• Understanding of network security, access management, secrets management, and container/serverless security.
• Experience with incident response systems and processes.
• Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build security capabilities into the internal developer platform.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
• Automate security controls using Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code.
• Create reusable guardrails for development teams by default.
• Improve cloud security across AWS, networking, APIs, containers, and identity management.
• Conduct threat modelling, pentesting, and proactive security assessments.
• Develop automated monitoring and threat detection using AWS Security Hub and related tools.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with software teams to enhance security without slowing development.
• Evolve cloud security architecture as the company scales.
