Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Delivery/Project Manager to lead complex technical projects with Agile methods. You will facilitate ceremonies, optimize processes, and coordinate across multiple teams to improve velocity and delivery predictability.

You will partner with executive stakeholders, manage dependencies, and ensure compliance and quality across domains, while enjoying flexible/remote working arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Leading delivery projects with Agile/PRINCE2 or PMP guidance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across senior execs and teams.
  • Experience scaling Agile across multiple workstreams and dependencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile, PRINCE 2 or PMP and practical experience of same.
  • Budget management, commercial and Customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies and tailor approaches to team needs.
  • Analyze Agile metrics and drive process improvements for velocity and predictability.
  • Coordinate cross-team sprints and manage dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain backlog, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate progress and risks to C-level stakeholders.

Job Description
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in technical project delivery
  • Successfully led difficult technical projects end-to-end using Agile methodologies
  • Proven track record facilitating Agile ceremonies for medium-sized teams
  • Experience coaching teams on Agile practices and driving continuous improvement
  • Specific knowledge in technology domain and/or industry vertical

Agile & Project Management Expertise

  • Expert facilitation of all Agile ceremonies with ability to adapt to team needs
  • Strong experience with Agile metrics analysis and process optimization
  • Proven ability to scale Agile practices across multiple workstreams
  • Experience managing dependencies and coordinating cross-team sprints
  • Skilled at backlog management, user story refinement, and acceptance criteria definition
  • Track record of improving team velocity and delivery predictability
  • Experience with Agile tools and reporting (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps

Technical Requirements

  • Experience working within GDS
  • Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable presenting to C-level executives
Qualifications
  • Overall strong Delivery Management / Project Management capabilities
  • Experience in Business / Compliance / Process delivery.
  • Familiar with implementing strong process control or compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile, PRINCE 2 or PMP and practical experience of same.
  • Budget management, commercial and Customer experience.
