Join our global team as Data Developer for Bliksund Analytics and turn complex data into life-saving insights.

Your contribution as Data Developer for Bliksund Analytics will be crucial in shaping the future of data-driven Emergency Services. You will develop analytics solutions and tools that help emergency services make better decisions through data insights. In Bliksund Analytics we work with data from all products in Bliksund: EWA , GRID , CRS and IncidentShare

The ideal candidate has a strong proven track record in Python development with passion for data analytics, insight and AI. You should be comfortable working with product managers and customers to understand their needs and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

You should have experience with modern data tools and cloud infrastructure. As we currently are a small team you should be ready to work with the whole data pipeline from ingest, transformation, deployment and making data available for customers both through ready-to-use reports and APIs.

• Develop Python-based analytics and insight solutions for emergency services.
• Work directly with product managers and customers to understand requirements and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines using python and dbt.
• Build API solutions for making data available internally and externally.
• Utilize internal deployment tools to deploy solutions on cloud infrastructure with proper CI/CD practices.
• Implement testing frameworks and maintain code quality standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Contribute to the growth of our analytics capabilities and best practices.

You bring:

• Strong Python development skills with focus on data.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge about cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Interest in AI/ML applications for real-world problem solving.
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a developer (senior developers are also encouraged to apply).
• Have a MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a similar field.
• Be fluent in Norwegian and English.

The ideal candidate should be able to work from Oslo (NO). Hybrid options can be discussed.
