Job summary

First Point Group is seeking an experienced Data Centre Site Manager in Norway to lead end-to-end operations of a mission-critical facility. You will own safety, uptime, reliability, IT operations, and compliance while coordinating with contractors, customers, and utility providers.

The role covers managing power distribution, cooling, BMS, EPMS, and life-safety systems, driving preventive maintenance, incident response, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years' experience in data centre or mission-critical facilities operations.
• Strong electrical and mechanical critical infrastructure experience.
• Proven people leadership and team-building experience.
• Experience with vendors, contractors, customers and utility providers.
• Strong knowledge of MOP/SOP/EOP, LOTO, change management, incident response and operational readiness.
• Experience supporting commissioning, expansions and operational handover.
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• Fluent English required; Norwegian is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS/STS, cooling systems, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, EPMS and fire/life safety systems.

• Lead IT hardware operations, rack & stack, structured cabling, asset management and site logistics.
• Manage vendors, contractors, OEMs, SLAs and customer escalations.
• Build and develop multidisciplinary Electrical, Mechanical, IT and Operations teams.
• Establish site processes, procedures, training, compliance and operational standards.
• Support data centre construction, expansion, commissioning, ORR and operational handover.
