Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking to conduct an initial 4-6 week assessment engagement based on site-based delivery in Oslo. The role involves observing day-to-day project delivery, reviewing governance and reporting processes, and identifying root causes of delivery issues.

The successful candidate will produce evidence-based findings, develop improvement plans, and present recommendations to project leadership, while providing coaching and ensuring best practices are embedded.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assess day-to-day project delivery, team performance, and working practices.
• Review project governance, planning, technical delivery, commissioning activities, and reporting processes.
• Identify the root causes of delivery issues, risks, inefficiencies, and performance challenges.
• Conduct audits and assessments, producing clear evidence-based findings and recommendations.
• Develop practical improvement plans focused on project execution, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes.
• Present findings and recommendations to project leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support teams in implementing agreed improvements and embedding best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance where required.
• Build positive working relationships while maintaining independence and objectivity throughout the assessment process.
• Contribute to follow-on improvement initiatives where additional support is agreed.
