Overview

KSAT’s earth observation department is the world’s leading provider of near real time earth observation services. We provide our customers with relevant and timely insights, through our state-of-the-art products portfolio. To ensure we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations we are looking for a proactive and growth-minded colleague to join us as Customer Success Manager!

We are looking for skilled colleague to help us define and measure our customer health, understand our customers' pain points and help foster a culture of continuous improvements.

You have a customer centric mindset, always seeking to ensure our customer facing systems and processes are state of the art and get motivated by customer satisfaction and retention. You will receive training in all relevant aspects of our services, from ordering of images, analysis, quality assurance, portfolio understanding and customer reporting.

Earth observation data is time critical, and you continuously strive to reduce the time to value, and ensure we continue to deliver value throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will play a key role in ensuring we measure what matters for our customers. By understanding our customers key matrices, you want to ensure service growth and service renewal by actively sharing your customer insights across the Earth observation department.

By understanding our customers key challenges, you play a key role in translating what matters for the customer into tangible actions that ensure customer success and service growth. By sharing your knowledge and insights, you help the team succeed in its mission; to ensure our customers obtain superior situational awareness.

The Customer Success manager position will be situated in Tromsø and work from brand new office facilities at Forskningsparken.

The role includes helping define and measure customer health, identifying pain points, and translating customer needs into actions that drive customer success and service growth. You will share customer insights across the Earth observation department to support service renewal and value delivery throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will contribute to building a customer-centric culture and ensure customer facing processes remain world-class. You will be involved in training and knowledge sharing about our services, from image ordering to analysis, quality assurance, portfolio understanding and customer reporting.

Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of satellite remote sensing and use of EO data (optical and SAR) – experience with both maritime and land applications is beneficial.
  • Experience from managing product/service development projects.
  • Experience from operational industries and customer-facing roles is beneficial.
  • Excellent command of oral and written English is mandatory.
  • Experience with process optimization through software development and scripting is advantageous but not required.
  • A Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-driven and result oriented person.
  • Good business understanding and customer centric mind-set.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and motivated to build and improve customer relations to ensure we retain our current and future customers.
  • Enthusiasm to travel and meet our customers when called upon.
  • Eligible for Security clearance at National level Hemmelig.
