Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Critical Services Technician to resolve day-to-day work orders and meet customer satisfaction targets within required timeframes.

The role is part of the Critical and Technical Services function, delivering technical maintenance in critical client environments. You will train, log activities, and coordinate with clients and management to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, or equivalent experience.
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in BS7671:2008 IEE Wiring Regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow basic work routines.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and act as an appointed Authorized Person (AP) within 6 months from onboarding.
• Maintain an up-to-date log of work completed and outstanding items through the in-house system.
• Ensure that all contractors and staff comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements.
• Participate in the critical services training program.
• Ensure effective communication with the client and management team is maintained.
• Operate as a team with other technicians to share expertise and resolve operational problems.
• Provide holiday, training & sickness cover for other members of the shift team.
• Track and complete Critical Services Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide condition assessments of plant and equipment.
• Log and action all out-of-line situations with incident reports.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while following defined procedures under supervision.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Critical Services Technician, you will resolve and complete day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction targets and ensure completion in the time frame required.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in BS7671:2008 Requirement for Electrical Installation (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition).
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
