Job summary

Key responsibilities include owning electrical, mechanical and cooling systems, managing power distribution, and driving uptime and energy efficiency while overseeing contractors and compliance in a highly innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data centres / critical facilities.
• Experience in power generation or industrial infrastructure.
• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with HPC, GPU or liquid-cooled environments.
• Experience with hydro power, high-density compute valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own critical electrical, mechanical and cooling systems.
• Oversee power generation and distribution.
• Manage high-density GPU and liquid-cooling infrastructure.
• Lead preventive maintenance, incident response and change control.
• Monitor with BMS / CMMS and drive operational performance.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, safety and compliance.
• Optimize uptime, PUE and energy efficiency.

Critical Facilities Manager – AI Data Centre

Sauda, Norway | On-site

We are supporting a fast-growing AI infrastructure and data centre business operating a highly efficient, renewable-powered, liquid-cooled GPU facility in Sauda.

This is a key operational leadership role responsible for the reliability, safety and performance of the site’s mission-critical infrastructure.

You will own:

• Critical electrical, mechanical and cooling systems
• Power generation and distribution
• High-density GPU and liquid-cooling infrastructure
• Preventive maintenance, incident response and change control
• BMS / CMMS monitoring and operational performance
• Contractors, vendors, safety and compliance
• Optimisation of uptime, PUE and energy efficiency

We’re looking for experience from:

• Data centres / critical facilities
• Power generation or industrial infrastructure
• Electrical / mechanical engineering
• HPC, GPU or liquid-cooled environments

Experience with hydropower, high-density compute or liquid cooling would be particularly valuable.
