Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with backups, recovery, security, and SQL scripting.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient database systems in accordance with user requirements.
• Monitor database performance, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
• Maintain data integrity and security through regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot database problems as they arise, working closely with developers to find solutions.
