Job summary

EliteHire seeks a Database Administrator in Oslo, Norway, for a contract position with accommodation provided. You will maintain, optimize, and secure company databases, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, perform backups, and ensure data integrity and security.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and at least 3 years of DBA experience with Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server. You will work both independently and with a team, communicating effectively with colleagues

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator.
Proficient in database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of database design principles and data manipulation languages.
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
