Job summary

Oman OnlineConnect in Bergen is seeking a Part-Time Database Administrator to monitor and optimize our databases. You will ensure security, performance, and reliability while coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and new databases as needed.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, prior DBA experience, and strong knowledge of MySQL/Oracle. Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS) and SQL is desirable. This position is based in Bergen, Norway and offers part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Previous experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems MySQL Oracle, etc.
• Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary $1200 per month based on part-time hours
