Job summary

CTS Group, a large international construction group, seeks construction workers to join on-site teams building data centres across Norway. You will install building parts, finish sites, and follow supervisor instructions, with opportunities to travel within Norway and abroad.

Ideal candidates have construction experience, can read drawings, and are safety-minded with a B driver’s license. The role offers a stable path with a written contract and medical safety training.

Qualifications

• Experience from construction or fit-out projects; data centre or technical projects is a plus.
• Ability to read simple construction drawings.
• Know how to use tools safely and PPE.
• Good English, spoken and written.
• Holding a valid driving licence class B.
• Physically fit for manual work.
• Flexible and mobile, willing to travel within Norway and abroad.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-minded.
• Eager to learn and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble building parts, such as ceilings, sandwich panels and flashing.
• Perform finishing works and site preparation.
• Follow drawings and instructions from your supervisor.
• Assist other trades and subcontractors on site.
• Move materials, load and unload deliveries.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety training.

Fortica builds and finishes data centres across Norway. A data centre is a large building full of servers that run the internet, the cloud and the apps we all use every day. We are looking for construction workers who want to be part of building them.

What you will do

• Install and assemble building parts, such as ceilings, sandwich panels and flashing

• Do finishing works and prepare the site

• Follow drawings and instructions from your supervisor

• Help other trades and subcontractors on site

• Move materials, load and unload deliveries

• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe

• Take part in toolbox talks (short safety meetings) and safety training

Who you are

• Experience from construction or fit-out projects. Data centre or technical projects are a plus.

• You can read simple construction drawings

• You know how to use tools safely and how to work with PPE (personal protective equipment such as a helmet, safety shoes and gloves)

• Good English, spoken and written

• Driving licence class B

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

• Flexible and mobile: willing to travel and work on projects in Norway and abroad

• Reliable, on time and safety-minded

• Happy to learn and to take direction

New to data centres? No problem. If you have solid construction experience, we will teach you the rest.
