Job Purpose

In Controls & Automation product line we are developing the technology platforms for the electrification of Subsea Control Systems and enabling of renewable energy sources like offshore wind, hydrogen and wave.

TechnipFMC is electrifying valve trees (XTs) which includes functional safety. This process is increasing the need for control, traceability and more controlled impact analysis. To help strengthen this area, we are searching for a Configuration Management Engineer.

Job Description

As a Configuration Management Engineer in Controls & Automation at TechnipFMC you will be involved in the full life-cycle of new products from R&D throughout commissioning and introduction to field operation. The Configuration Management Engineer will establish processes for how configurations management (CM) will be handled across software, electronics and products. The CM process will ensure traceability for e.g. specifications, documentation, models, mechanical design versions, verification results etc. The target is to store and trace everything necessary for re-creating a test and test set-up when required in addition to serving a formal basis for change and impact evaluation.

You are meant for this job if:

  1. BSc or MSc in engineering or quality engineering
  2. Capable of structural approach to solve complex problems
  3. Open-minded, speak professional English and adaptable for working in multicultural environment
  4. Continuously seeking improvements and thrive working with change management
  5. Having interest in quality management or process control

Additional Skills

  1. Quality management systems
  2. SW process management or electronics process handling
  3. Understanding of ERP and PLM systems high level data flow
