Overview

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Completion Engineers: Electrical/Instrument or Mechanical for exciting projects in Bergen.

We are currently hiring for two positions: one with a focus on EIT (Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom) disciplines, and another centered around Mechanical disciplines.

The positions have an immediate start and are expected to be long-term. The work schedule follows a standard five-day workweek.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?
  • Provide engineering support for the construction and completion work at Sandsli and Troll C.
  • Ensure that all MC checks are completed on time.
  • Prepare and maintain the project Completion system.
  • Follow-up of Mechanical Completion at the construction site.
  • Interface with construction, commissioning, engineering, and operation.
  • Facilitate hand over processes, RFCC and RFOC.
We think you should have:
  • Offshore site experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Completion/Commissioning – within either Electrical/Instrument or Mechanical in NORSOK offshore projects.
  • Experience with Mechanical Completion and Commissioning from Maintenance / Modification Projects.
  • Proficiency in ProCoSys, Fusion and DCP.
  • Good cooperative skills.
  • Ability to drive work processes and coordinate activities.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English.
