Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide emotional support to clients.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Must pass a background check and provide references from previous employers or clients.
• Visa sponsorship available for non-natives of Svalbard.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medication reminders as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with the client.
• Accompany client to appointments or outings as needed.
• Document and report changes in the client's condition or behavior to the appropriate parties.
