Job summary

FutureTech is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support elderly individuals in Svalbard. You will help with daily tasks, provide companionship, and assist with medication reminders in a secure home-like setting.

The role requires prior caregiving experience, good communication, and the ability to follow instructions. Visa for working in Svalbard is required, and accommodation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a caregiver or similar role.

• Must have own valid visa for working in Svalbard.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, games, or reading aloud.
• Accompany clients on outings or appointments as needed.
• Monitor health status and report changes to medical personnel or family.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document daily activities, health changes, or incidents as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients' families and other healthcare professionals.

Salary We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
