Qualifications

• No prior experience required, but some knowledge or interest in caregiving is preferred.
• Must have a valid visa to work in Svalbard.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards the elderly or disabled population.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Physically able to lift and assist clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments
• Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Monitor changes in clients' health and report any concerns to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
