The role involves daily personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, and accompanying clients to appointments. You will also provide companionship, maintain a safe home, and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• Compassionate nature with strong empathy for others.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Good English communication skills; other languages a plus.
• Valid work permit or visa for Svalbard.

Caregiver - Svalbard

We are in need of a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Svalbard. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals who are unable to fully care for themselves due to age, illness, or disability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
• Administer medication and assist with medical appointments
• Accompany clients on outings and appointments
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Communicate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for clients

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role is required
• Compassionate nature and strong empathy for others
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
• Valid work permit or visa for Svalbard (own visa jobs only)
• Physical ability to lift and move clients as needed
