Job summary

Tina Lacey Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Employability ASF Skills Coach to deliver high-quality teaching and learner support across community-based programmes in Liverpool. The role covers short courses to longer programmes, assisting adults 19+ facing barriers such as mental health challenges, autism, or low confidence.

Delivery occurs in community venues with funded programmes under ASF, requiring strong communication and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering adult or community-based learning.
  • Experience teaching and assessing qualifications.
  • Knowledge of ASF/AEB funding streams.
  • Understanding Ofsted expectations for adult learning.
  • Experience supporting learners with barriers including autism or mental health needs.
  • Comfort using ePortfolio systems and digital tools.
  • Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and learner wellbeing.
