Job description
Overview

Receptionists At Spaces, we call our receptionists Community Associates. Our customers come to us for an inspiring work environment. As one of our receptionists, you’ll help deliver it by providing sparkling service, going the extra mile, and making sure everyone who visits us feels totally at home.

Typical day

You arrive 15 minutes before your centre opens to make sure everything is ready to go. You order the first cappuccino of the day at the bar and walk through the business club to ensure all lights are on and the space looks tidy.

As members arrive, you handle requests such as changing the WiFi code. You help a guest who is providing training in a meeting room, check the meeting room agenda, and ensure coffee and catering are arranged when needed. You manage mail duties, place mail in the correct mailboxes, and notify members when their mail has arrived.

After lunch, you discuss next week’s summer event with the Community Manager and take initiative to organise kind gestures for new parents. When a guest signs up for a membership, you assist with online registration and immediately issue a badge; you also arrange a badge for a new employee who emailed you.

At 6:00pm, you help wrap up the day with attendees in meeting rooms, invite them to Friday drinks or direct them to a nearby restaurant, and ensure the space is tidy before you head home for the evening.
