Job summary

Sisk Group seeks a Commissioning Lead to join the Data Centre team in Norway. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee commissioning activities to ensure installed systems meet design specs and industry standards.

Collaboration with engineering, operations, and construction teams will drive safe, on-time delivery and within budget. You will lead FATs/SATs, verify safety, performance, and reliability, and manage documentation, training, and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in commissioning, project management, or construction with Data centre experience.
• Certifications such as PMP or CCP are a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to align commissioning activities with project milestones.
• Define and allocate resources, including manpower, tools, and materials, for commissioning activities.
• Review project designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure commissioning requirements are met.
• Lead and participate in FATs and SATs.
• Ensure systems are tested for safety, performance, reliability, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Oversee onsite commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Direct pre-commissioning, functional testing, and performance verification of systems.
• Supervise the transition of completed systems to operations, ensuring all documentation and training are delivered.
• Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results, punch lists, and progress reports.
• Generate and submit detailed commissioning reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future projects.
• Ensure as-built documentation is updated and final system certifications are completed.

We are seeking a Commissioning Lead to join our Data Centre team in Norway.

The Commissioning Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the commissioning phase of a project. This includes ensuring systems, equipment, and processes are installed, tested, and functioning according to design specifications and industry standards. The role involves collaboration with engineering, operations, and construction teams to meet project objectives safely, on time, and within budget.

• Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in collaboration with project stakeholder

• Direct pre-commissioning, functional testing, and performance verification of systems.

• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to commissioning activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with commissioning software/tools and methodologies.
• Certifications such as PMP, Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), or industry-specific credentials are a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IEEE, IEC, or others relevant to the sector).
