A leading engineering firm based in Stord seeks a Commissioning Engineer F&G Systems for a contract from 03.11.2025 to 30.09.2027. Overview

Commissioning Engineer F&G Systems

Contract period: 03.11.2025 - 30.09.2027

Location: Stord

Main tasks

• This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stord. Position to mobilise offshore when required.
• Provide guidance and direction to relevant disciplines ensuring that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Company’s expectations.
• Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs.
• When required act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases.
• Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope for relevant F&G deliverables.
• Contribute and advice related to Fire & Gas testing and verification input to overall Completion strategy and planning. Ensuring compliance to Company additional requirements and relevant performance standards.
• Manage relevant contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for Fire & Gas System Commissioning.
• In cooperation with relevant disciplines and package teams, provide relevant knowledge and participation related to:
• Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (FAT/SAT).
• Follow Up field installation ensuring correct quality and scheduled installation according to Commissioning schedule.
• Develop, review, and implement F&G commissioning procedures.
• Implement the commissioning scope on site and Offshore.
• Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
• At site(s) and Offshore, Lead and coordinate the Commissioning test-team in connection with dynamic commissioning.
• Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary

Qualifications

• BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
• Documented Ex competence with valid classroom courses.
• Experience from previous operations is of great benefit.
