Overview

Position: Senior Project Completion Engineer – Fire and Gas Systems

Location: Onshore (Stord) with offshore mobilization as needed. Start: 03.11.2025. Application deadline: 03.10.2025. Employment form: Fast.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for Fire and Gas (F&G) systems.
• Develop, review, and implement F&G commissioning strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate with various project teams and contractors to ensure readiness and execution of commissioning tasks.
• Manage commissioning scope in alignment with performance standards.
• Act as Commissioning Authority on-site during commissioning phases as needed.
• Participate in the transition and handover of systems to Operations, ensuring safe and efficient start-up.
• Provide input to commissioning schedules, forecasts, and cost estimates.
• Supervise and coordinate dynamic commissioning activities offshore.
• Witness FAT/SAT, ensure correct installation quality, and follow up on site execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Extensive experience in commissioning, preferably within offshore oil and gas projects.
• Specific experience with Fire and Gas systems and their integration in commissioning processes.
• Strong understanding of completion processes and transition to operations.

Certifications

• Documented EX competence with valid classroom certification is needed.

Skills

• Strong leadership and coordination skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High focus on HSE in all project activities.
• Ability to work both onshore and offshore as needed.
