The role

We’re looking for freelance business development partners to help us identify and engage new clients. This is a fully commission-based role, ideal for high-energy networkers, consultants, or sales professionals seeking flexible, remote-first work.

As a BD partner, you will:

  • Identify potential clients
  • Initiate outreach via email/LinkedIn using our marketing materials and outreach tool
  • Qualify interest and set up intro calls for the XBV leadership team (we handle the close)
  • Collaborate with us on improving outreach tactics and refining pitch materials
What we provide

  • Ready-to-send pitch decks, use cases, and product materials
  • Short training sessions on XBV’s services and pitch strategy
  • Opportunities to do project-based consulting work as well (additional income), if your skills are aligned to the project deliverables
What we are looking for
  • Self-starters with experience in consulting, IT/B2B sales, tech services, or corporate BD
  • Strong written communication skills (most outreach is email-based)
  • Comfortable with qualifying leads, understanding buyer pain points, and initiating meaningful conversations
  • Professional networkers and confident communicators, fluency in English required, other EU languages a plus
Compensation
  • Competitive commission-only model, percentage of deal
  • No cap on earnings
  • Typically the deals in our industry are at least 5-figure (euro)
  • Under separate agreements, you may have the opportunity to do project-based consulting work

Governance and collaboration expectations

To ensure fairness to all collaborators and secure business operations:

  • All BD partners operate under a non-circumvention and non-competition agreement
  • Target industries or regions may be allocated based on focus, availability, skill-set
  • You will be embedded in our secure IT environment and receive XBV email credentials
  • You’re expected to follow our brand tone and messaging guidelines (provided in the onboarding pack) when communicating externally
  • You’ll have access to a dedicated point of contact at XBV for any questions, feedback, or commercial discussion
