Job summary

Orange Business is seeking a Lead Data Architect in Oslo to drive cloud data strategy and design modern data platforms. You will mentor a team of Data Engineers and collaborate with clients to deliver data-driven solutions.

The role involves working across data engineering, analytics, and DevOps, leveraging technologies like Kafka, Spark, DBT, Snowflake, and Databricks in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with data ICT projects.
• Data architecture experience across modern platforms and data modeling techniques (relational & NoSQL).
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of modern data platform architectures.
• Mentor and guide a team of Data Engineers.
• Partner with clients to define and implement strategic, data-driven solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and obtain relevant certifications.
• Utilize technologies such as Kafka, Spark, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, Databricks, Airflow, Elasticsearch.
