A healthcare organization in Vestland, Norway, is seeking a front-desk administrator responsible for billing, patient interaction, and administrative support. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Responsible for front-desk duties such as appointments, billing and payment collection, handling enquiries (Phone/ walk in)
Prepare case notes and other required forms
Responsible for timeliness in processing patient bills and insurance claims (eg, Medisave/ insurance claims)
Liaise with patients / payers for outstanding bills
Checking for bill accuracies and reviewing completeness of patient documents for medical claims
Assist in preparing and dispensing medication
Top up medication and assist in stock taking as required
Provide administrative support to the department
Any other duties as required
Experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on patient satisfaction
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in medical billing software and basic computer skills
Passionate in learning and sharing knowledge, skills, insights, experience and best practices
Discipline in building effective work systems/ flow and possess high personal integrity
