Job summary

Maritime Robotics AS in Trondheim seeks a strategic Chief Product Officer to build and lead the new Products Department. You will define the portfolio strategy for uncrewed surface vessels and autonomy solutions, reporting to the CEO and partnering with Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams to scale offerings.

You will mentor segment product managers, guide go-to-market and pricing, and ensure compliance with evolving maritime regulations while expanding recurring revenue across software,

Qualifications

• Higher education in engineering, business, or technology management.
• Experience leading product management or strategy for complex hardware-software systems.
• Experience turning bespoke projects into scalable product lines.
• Proficient in English; Norwegian language is a strong advantage.
• Eligible for Norwegian security clearance.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the new Products organization and establish unified product management practices across segments.
• Define portfolio strategy for uncrewed surface vessels (USV) and autonomy solutions.
• Drive lifecycle management balancing customer value, financial performance, and technical feasibility.
• Shape go-to-market and pricing strategies, expanding recurring revenue models across software, data, and services.
• Partner with Technology and Operations to transition bespoke solutions into standard offerings.
• Ensure the portfolio roadmap aligns with evolving maritime regulations, certifications, and compliance standards.
