Havila Subsea is looking for a Chief Officer to lead the deck department and supervise the crew. Based in Ålesund, Norway, the Chief Officer will also organize watches and assist the Captain in various operations.

Qualifications include a Chief officer COC-DO2, a valid medical certificate, and several STCW training certifications. This exciting role serves the Renewables and Oil & Gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Chief officer COC-DO2 (STCW A-II/2) is required.
• Valid medical certificate and relevant safety training is necessary.
• DP unlimited and ship security officer certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the deck department and crew supervision.
• Organize watches and act as deputy to the Captain.
• Manage navigational watches and cargo operations.

Havila Subsea & Renewables operates an advanced fleet of vessels dedicated to Diving, Offshore Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM), as well as Construction. These vessels serve the global Renewables and Oil & Gas sectors. Our office is located in Ålesund.

To be a Chief Officer in Havila the minimum requirements are:

• Chief officer COC-DO2 (STCW A-II/2)
• Medical certificate
• Safety training officers STCW
• DP unlimited certificate
• Ship Security Officer CoP STCW
• GOC/GMDSS certificate

Responsibilities

• The Chief Officer is responsible for the deck department and to keep supervision with the crew, organize watches and act as a deputy for the Captain. The Chief Officer has navigational watches and is responsible for loading and unloading of cargo.
