Job summary

Havila Subsea is looking for a Chief Officer to lead the deck department and supervise the crew. Based in Ålesund, Norway, the Chief Officer will also organize watches and assist the Captain in various operations.

Qualifications include a Chief officer COC-DO2, a valid medical certificate, and several STCW training certifications. This exciting role serves the Renewables and Oil & Gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Chief officer COC-DO2 (STCW A-II/2) is required.
• Valid medical certificate and relevant safety training is necessary.
• DP unlimited and ship security officer certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the deck department and crew supervision.
• Organize watches and act as deputy to the Captain.
• Manage navigational watches and cargo operations.
