Position Summary

This role involves conducting sample testing according to established procedures, ensuring high quality and timely results. The analyst will maintain equipment, verify methods, and document processes in compliance with quality and accreditation standards. The position offers opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and update quality procedures, instructions, and tools related to analyses and tests.
  • Perform analytical testing, validate results, and participate in method validation and implementation projects.
  • Monitor analytical methods and maintain quality standards (Q-Stat, A2M).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and NQMS during analyses and audits.
  • Conduct ICP calibrations, improve equipment performance, and assist in equipment setup and commissioning.
  • Participate in safety, GA, 5S, QM activities, and operational reviews to enhance quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Food Technology
  • 2 years’ experience in a chemical laboratory
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and computer skills
  • Experience with HPLC, GC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, LC-MS is advantageous
