Job summary

Øgreid AS is recruiting a CFO for Bon Dep, a Norwegian hair accessory brand expanding across 40+ countries. You’ll join the management team, lead the finance function, and shape growth through strategic financial leadership and scalable systems.

You’ll balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking, build models, manage banking relationships, and guide pricing, VAT, and corporate structures in international markets.

Qualifications

• Experience as CFO or in a senior finance role, ideally in a growth company.
• Experience leading finance in an organisation with lean support functions.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chains and impact on growth and capital needs.
• Strong grasp of financing and international corporate structures.
• Knowledge of tax and VAT issues in international business and e-commerce.
• Ability to build financial models and understanding of technology, automation and AI.
• Master's degree in economics or finance, or equivalent.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Experience in brands/retail/e-commerce is advantageous.
• Experience setting up companies, banking relationships, payment solutions in US or Asia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a commercial thought partner to the CEO and COO on strategic choices.
• Conduct commercial assessments and analysis across the business.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and board reporting with a single source of truth.
• Oversee international growth and financing and corporate structuring.
• Manage payment solutions, VAT and tax in new markets, including potential D2C initiatives.
• Lead banking relationships, financing, covenants, and intercompany matters.
• Develop processes, systems and division of responsibilities to scale finance.
