We are looking for a Category Analyst / Senior Category Analyst to join Orkla Procurement.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop within strategic sourcing and cross functional projects while working hands‑on with complex supplier markets, data, and commercial decisions.

Your role

You will join a high-performing procurement team responsible for developing and managing the Packaging category across Orkla where many large projects are planned for 2027. The role combines analytical work, sourcing execution, and stakeholder collaboration. Over time you will get the opportunity to broaden the horizon and work with other key categories in the Orkla Procurement portfolio.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Analyzing market and supplier data to create insights into cost drivers and trends
• Supporting and driving tenders, sourcing processes and negotiations across Global markets
• Contributing to category strategies, with a focus on cost efficiency, risk management and sustainability
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders across supply chain, finance and local business units
• Leveraging AI-driven tools and analytics – Orkla Procurement is actively investing in AI to transform sourcing, data analysis and decision-making

Who We Are Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, finance or similar
• Master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills and interest in data and digital tools (Excel + AI curiosity)
• Results- oriented and thrives on driving change initiatives
• Interest in production environment and commercial dynamics
• Ability to translate complexity into clear insights and recommendations
• Proactive, structured and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
