Cashier - Part-time, Oslo


Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team in Oslo. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Balance cash register at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a cashier preferred but not required
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations tactfully
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Oslo. Please note that accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own visa/permit to work in Norway.
