Job summary

A leading global life reinsurer is seeking a qualified actuary at Manager level for its Capital Management & Reporting team. The role focuses on capital planning, solvency reporting, forecasting, stress testing and ALM, with emphasis on communicating complex actuarial insights to senior leadership and the Board.

Ideal candidates have UK life experience and 3–7 years PQE, with a track record in capital exposures and regulatory capital.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with 3–7 years PQE
• Experience in UK life insurance, life reinsurance or life-focused consulting
• Experience in capital management, solvency reporting, capital planning and forecasting
• Exposure to senior leadership and board reporting
• Ability to translate complex actuarial analyses into commercial insight

Responsibilities

• Shape how the business plans, forecasts, deploys and reports capital
• Ensure capital frameworks are robust and well governed
• Lead capital movement analysis and key solvency drivers
• Interact with senior leadership and committees to present findings
• Provide strategic influence and develop junior actuaries
